Aquarium Computer Board mounted in a plastic enclosure. Chip on top is ULN2003, It is a hight current darlington array. It is used to control three relays. The chip in the middle is the microcontroller AT89C2051 the heart of the unit. The chip at the bottom is MAX232 - RS232 level converter.
Full view of the aquatic controller mounted inside plastic enclosure. Towards the right are the three relays that control the AC loads. The relays used are the automotive relays from Potter & Brumfield. On the top the terminal strip can be seen that is used to connect the relays to outside world.
